An expression of softness and an exploration of scale. This correlation work, although a departure from smaller-scale pieces, creates intimacy through its subtle, tactile moments of embellishment, drawing you close into the experience. This work also introduces hand-carved and sculpted elements in both Sterling silver and clay. These small motifs, secured to the canvas through threaded semi-precious stones, emphasise the importance of materiality. These moments interrupt the subtly undulating movements of colour and texture on the canvas with tactility, small satellites of earth casting shadows and reflecting light as time passes over them.
